Why Google Hates Paid Link Building Building or Paid Link Submission

Google is one search engine that believes in providing its users the perfect results. Thus, Google is striving hard to create its own algorithms. Meta ranking is not such a major criteria for Google search engine optimisation. The same holds true for page ranking. Google does not hold any page rank system. In fact, Google follows off-page optimisation. This means, that if your inbound links are strong, you will get a priority on Google.

Similarly, the age of the domain is one factor that is taken care of, by almost every search engine, especially Google. If your domain is older, then your site will be given priority in the search engine optimisation, as compared to the new domains. These factors contribute to analyse the quality of a website by Google.

However, paid link submissions are what Google dislikes the most. In fact, Google penalises such webmasters, who sell text link ads in order to get higher ranks in the search engine optimisation. And if you think that you are too small to get noticed by Google, you are indeed wrong!!!

The reason for Google’s dislike for such paid links is that the organic structure of the environment is disturbed by such links. According to Google policies, if you are buying a link – or we may also call it a paid link submission in technical terms, you are trying to bribe an algorithm. Thus it ensures that the flow is not broken.

To ensure that you stay in the Google search engine, you have to follow the rules and regulations laid down by the company religiously. In case you try to act smart, you will surely get caught by Google. To make correct search engine results available to the users on Google search, Google’s normal procedure is to penalise the webmaster that uses wrong methods.

In order to get back your page rank, you have to forget text link ads or the paid submissions. Believe me, it’s not at all a bad idea, because for doing so you are benefitted from a web hosting one year fee. And once you get back your payment, it as always advisable to ensure that your TLA plug-in is disabled. If you have used a paid link, then you need the “nofollow” attribute tagged. There are various methods available on the net, outlining this process. Although it’s a bit technical, still with a little bit of help or just thorough reading on the internet, you may be able to do it.

Remember that if your paid links are made to a spam website, you will be penalised by Google. It is something that Google simply does not tolerate, no matter what.  So once you are through with disabling your paid links, you may once again ask for reconsideration from Google by sending a request, and letting them know what changes you have performed, in order to ensure that you get your page ranking in the Google search engine back. Once sure, Google will remove the penalty and you may enjoy your previous page ranking once again.

If you follow basic instructions on Directory Submission, your Search Engine Optimization will be one of the most perfect. One thing that you should ensure is that automotive directory submission should never take place, no matter what. This is so, because by doing so you will enable search engines to link farming senses.

The following points will help you assess whether your web directory is good or not. Remember that no matter what you are using. Whether it is a paid, free, future link or reciprocal submission as a web directory, its effectiveness depends upon the following points:

  • A good directory should have a unique and individual content and style, that should not have been used anywhere in the net before.
  • A summary about the category is a must. Every category page should contain title, description, etc., also known as meta tags, as these increase the understanding rate.
  • These directories should be indexed by a prominent search engine like yahoo, Google or msn and should be SEO friendly.
  • The links per page should not exceed the limit of 20.
  • These directories should be crafted to serve the purpose, and not for advertising purposes like they do in YouTube.
  • If the directory includes an old website, then the link to this website should be checked through Google or any other search engine.
  • Last but not the least it is a must, for the directory to have a category and its sub category as well.

If your directory has all the above mentioned features, then your website will be reaping the benefits. It does not matter, whether you have a paid or free or reciprocate or future linking type of directory. In the event that your directory fails even a single above mentioned point, avoid that directory as much as you can. Also, it is recommended not to submit more than 10 links to your website in a day, as it may be considered as spamming by the search engine.

Reciprocal Link Building

A similar website reciprocal link is preferred by search engines. Directory submission is a helpful method in Seo Services, but not as much as reciprocal linking.
